Atlus, today, have officially announced Persona 5 for the platform with a Japanese release date set for Winter 2014 - no Western release is planned as of yet. We will be reaching out to Atlus for comment. The PS1 classic Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey is being remade for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Vita and Oddworld Inhabitants have released a trailer which focuses on the story. Operation Suzaku, the petition group who want Final Fantasy Type 0's localization, has received over 15,000 signatures on Avaaz. Final Fantasy Type 0 is a 2011 action RPG on the PlayStation Portable which has only been released in Japan and never was localized. The PlayStation Vita certainly had a rocky start when it came down to it's first person shooter offerings. Both Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified and Resistance: Burning Skies were developed by a studio formally called Nihilistic Games and demonstrated a terrible way to implement the Vita's capabilities. On the show floor for Tokyo Game Show, Sony Computer Entertainment revealed a new project from Team Gravity and it is a new Gravity Rush/Daze game. The Walking Dead, PlayStation Euphoria's Best PSN Game of 2012, has hit the Vita and overall, TellTale Games has succeeded in bringing this story focused title to the portable platform but there are a few disappointments such as the game engine freezing between segments of the story and the lack of a cross save feature. In a recent interview with Edge Sony Computer Entertainment Europe CEO Jim Ryan discussed the release plans for Gaikai on PS4 stating that the service will launch on PS4 in early 2014 followed by PS3 and Vita releases of the service.
