Okay it starts like this the original ps3′s used a microchip called the emotion engine to read Playstation 2 titles and was basically a mini ps2 processor. that microchip was expensive to make so inorder to reduce cost the ps3 lost it. well the Cell processor of the Playstation 3 might be able to do what the emotion chip did! PS2 game data just needs to be translated for the cell processor and sony have the code to do it!
