Here’s one game we haven’t heard from in awhile, and honestly it feels like a real long time since we have heard any at all details on this one of a kind spell binding adventure. The last time we even heard of Sorcery was at the E3 2010 PlayStation Press Conference, and now you can see why I was beginning to think that it wasn’t coming out. But that certainly isn’t the case here since at last weeks PlayStation media showcase in New York, PlayStation Blogs Sid Shuman was able to finally go and see how the game was doing for himself and speak with the design director Brian Upton, who had stated that game was still on track to release this Spring.
For those of you who want to know the specs of Sorcery it is running on a heavily modified version of the Unreal engine, and by the looks of things the art direction seems to have progressed by leaps and bounds since we last saw it. The game now skews a bit older, with some even nastier monster designs and edgier spellcasting combat. So its good to see that the game is still making progress and I can’t wait to see what else is in store for it later next year. In the meantime you guys can check out the PlayStation Move Interview below or read more about it at the PlayStation Blog.
