PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Goes Gold, Reveals Intro Trailer and Final Boss

The time is almost here. That awesome brawler we know as PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, will finally be available for everyone to enjoy.  The PlayStation Blog recently had Seth Killian on to talk about the game finally going gold as well as revealing the introduction cinematic for PlayStation All-Stars. Not only was the introduction shown but, the folks over at SuperBot have been tightly lipped regarding the final boss in the game. We want you to take a look at the trailer itself before we help reveal who it is for those that don’t know. As well as to keep an eye out for the “rivalries” within the video.

Are you confused as to who that was? Are you wondering what the rivalries mean? Are you ready to find out who it was and for me to stop asking questions?

Here’s an image of the first PlayStation Mascot:

The final boss is called Polygon Man. While only true hardcore PlayStation Fans might only remember him being the very first mascot for PlayStation back in it’s hay day. Polygon Man was an advertisement from the PlayStation One days that didn’t even last too long neither. So, being the final boss does seem like the perfect place for him to stand tall. The rivalries from the opening cinematic have some specifics to them within the story mode but, we think you can figure out the reasonings for these characters being rivals just by watching the video (Though Fat Princess and Evil Cole doesn’t really make sense).

We hope you’re excited as we are for Battle Royale to release soon being just a mere week and a half away.

If you’re also still confused as to where to pre-order, the PlayStation Store will have it Day 1 when it releases. With the digital version of Battle Royale, it includes the same pre-order bonus you can find at retailers and access to the Vita version.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale releases on November 20th in North America and is rated “T” for Teen.

I've been gaming ever since the good old Sega/Nintendo days but I recently I got into the gaming industry around 2006. Ever since then I've been with the PlayStation brand for a long time. I'm a dedicated Sony fan who loves to play games from start to finish whether they are good or bad. And I also enjoy learning more about the industry as a whole with the future ahead of us.
