12 years ago Capcom gave us Street Fighter III Third Strike, and while it wasn’t a fan favorite it was one of the best fighting games in 1999. Now, Capcom is bringing back Third Strike to its fans with Street Fighter III Third Strike Online, but there is more to it then just the addition of online support, as UDON has completely redrawn the models for the game in HD rendering as well as being able to switch to the original game art. The music has also been remixed for online, as well as the original soundtrack being in the game. Third Strike also features an upload to YouTube feature where players will be able to upload all their favorite matches in game. A spectator mode is also included and an 8 player tournament mode. Last, but not least Street Fighter III Third Strike features a trial mode where players have a list of challenges to complete and improve their skills to become the ultimate striker. We will be seeing this gem of a fighter out for the Playstation Network for download on August 23rd for $14.99.
So tell me fighting fans are you excited to see this title being reborn?
