CastleStorm’s PS3/Vita port is the latest title from Zen Studios, the people behind Kickbeat and Zen Pinball. The studio has excelled so far at making games that don’t break the mold, but work exceedingly well inside of it. CastleStorm is no exception. What it’s castle-on-castle warfare lacks in originality it makes up for in pure fun. The gameplay can best be defined as tower defense str... more.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 2 strengthens the bonds between friends in the sequel. Fans of the first game will be happy to see the cast of one piece make their triumphant return in what looks to be the best hack and slash yet in the series. For any followers of One Piece, one thing to make note of is Pirate Warriors 2 does not reference directly off the original story. Instead it is almost comple... more.

Payday 2 does pick up on a lot of new ideas to enhance the gameplay experience, which makes things feel quite a bit more in depth compared to the original. While all the new ideas improve the experience, it can't help but feel like it reaches a point where there just didn't seem to be enough missions to satisfy your career in crime. This leaves it feeling like a somewhat incomplete sequel, and mor... more.

Castle of Illusion surprised me. I'd never played the original for Genesis, so all I had to go on were a few of my own preconceived notions: It'd be targeted at kids (thanks to it featuring Mickey Mouse), and it'd be a decent, simple platformer. What the game offered was a lot more than I bargained for, in ways both good and bad. A soothing narrator introduces you to the story. Minnie Mouse has... more.

The title pretty much says it all “Do Not Fall” which is extremely straightforward to the point. I’m no stranger to difficult platformers, but I can at least understand where the line is between enjoyment and frustration when it comes down to it all. To simply judge the game based on the looks of it, would be a poor mistake in judgment, since it does offer a level of challenge that is quite ... more.

The Walking Dead was a surprising game filled with thrills, suspense, and choices that made you cringe as you hope you played the story to your liking. While Season 2 is currently in development, Telltale Game and Skybound Entertainment decided to give fans a special episode to hold them over. The Walking Dead: 400 days is the latest addition to the series and although it’s not the sam... more.

If you have been in the mood for a good side-scrolling brawler lately, than Sacred Citadel might just be what you’re in the market for. Some of you may be familiar with the name Sacred since it is actually well known for being an action oriented-RPG. While it isn’t exactly Diablo III, the series has become quite popular in its own way. With the acquisition of this series by Deep Silver, there ... more.

Nippon Ichi have created fun and interesting role playing game experiences this year including Legasista and Mugen Souls but Clan of Champions falls short of the high caliber of work that NIS have previously conducted - Clan of Champions unfortunately is uninspired, repetitive and is flat out, one of the worst PSN titles to ever be released in 2012. Clan of Champions focuses on gladiator battle... more.

F1 Race Stars is not an average kart racing clone of a particular Nintendo franchise we are all thinking of when we hear the word "Kart" - it has its own interesting gameplay mechanics, artistic graphics and items which mesh well with the Formula 1 feel but, with a lack of addictiveness and a few strange weapon choices, this game falls short of the mark. First off, F1 Race Stars is not the same... more.
