Spider-Man is back with the release of the new Spider-Man movie in theaters which of course comes with a complementary movie game. Prototype Developer Radical Entertainment has officially shut down. No longer developing its own games, a lay off of a large amount of employees will be happening to this developer as the remaining staff will assist in other Activison Projects as stated by Activison. Play, Create, Share, is a genre brand name that was basically invented by Media Molecule after the creation of their title series, LittleBigPlanet. Dead Space, Resident Evil, and many other “Survival Horror” games never seem to make me jump, and definitely don’t seem terrifying to me. What happened to this genre anyways? Resistance Fall of Man was a pivotal launch title for the PlayStation 3 and now, years later, we are hearing that we should not expect a new Resistance title any time soon. After the recent release of Resistance: Burning Skies on the Vita, not Sony or Insomniac have any plans to revive the franchise. With the release of Dawnguard on the 360 recently, PlayStation 3 and PC players must wait their turn. That turn has been assumed by many to be 30 days after the 360 release making the release date for PS3 owners the 24th or 25th of June depending on whether they release it with the PlayStation Store update or not.
